Dance portfolio: Nathan Villalba

From an early age, dance has been my passion as I started dancing when I was age 6. Initially, I started dancing street Hip Hop, as I liked Michael Jackson and many of his video clips had this style of dance.

I like Hip-Hop as it inspired me, but I also like Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet. All these dancing styles are part of my daily class routines with my current dance school Stylos Dance Studio.

I have been with my current dance school for over three years, and during this time I have competed in the Gibraltar International Festival, where I won Best Male in 2017 & 2019. In addition, I competed in the Dance World Cup in 2018 in Sitges, Barcelona, where I won Gold in the Boys' Modern Solo and in the large group formation. I also won Silver with my small Jazz group and Bronze in my Contemporary duet. I am very grateful to my choreographers Lillian and Lauren Montero....
